heat pump installation in Denver

Home to millions of people and growing quickly, the Denver Metro Area is leading the charge for heat pumps, sustainability, and electrification. Not only that, it’s quickly becoming one of the most forward-thinking and sustainable cities in the entire country.

Much of Denver’s growth and appeal comes from planning with sustainability in mind, and the city’s multiple Climate Action, Sustainability & Resiliency programs and rebates has led the (electrification) charge, which includes big plans for heat pumps! They also have a ton of great information on their Sustainability page indeed.

Heat Pumps + Energy Efficiency Rebates

Did You Know?

Going with a new heat pump is a perfect part of going net zero, a home electrification project, or just wanting to move away from burning fossil fuels in your home. Denver has a lot of different rebates for these projects too. Check out this link for more info.

Did you know that heat pumps work very closely and greatly benefit from other home energy efficiency projects as well?

Along with being on Xcel’s Heat Pump Approved Contractors List, we’re also approved on and can help you with their 25% rebate bonus for you through their Whole Home Efficiency Program!

Here are some common projects that work hand-in-hand and combine benefits with your new heat pump, and other efficiency rebates as well:

1) Energy Audits

Energy audits is the best place to start to determine home air leakage and poor insulation. There are not only local rebates, but also tax credits too! If you’ve had an audit done, we would love to use the report data to optimize your heat pump.

3) Insulation

After air sealing, insulation is usually the best money spent to increase home comfort and to slow down the rapid cooling and heating losses we have here in typical Colorado homes. Capitalize on Xcel’s insulation rebates and federal tax credits as well.

2) Air Sealing

After the energy audit, air sealing is the best bang-for-the-buck in terms of controlling your indoor air. By sealing up leaks, the heat pump (or any HVAC system) can work much more efficiently. Be sure to check out local Xcel air sealing rebates and federal tax credits.

4) Heat Pump Water Heaters

Heat pump water heaters is the most efficient method of heating water with electricity. You can usually save hundreds of dollars per year in utility costs by switching to one. And like the others, there are really great local Xcel rebates and tax credits available. But just know that this tax credit might eat into your new heat pump HVAC one!

What our clients say about us

We’re doing HVAC differently, and our customers benefit.

“Xerxes was incredibly helpful in figuring out cooling options for our house. He discussed specifics of our house and our cooling and heating needs with us and then gave us information on what size system we’d need, different efficiency ratings, pricing on different types of units, installation options and costs, and tax credits/utility rebates (Federal and State). He was able to provide this information both for heat pumps and traditional A/C units. He gave us all the information we needed to make the correct decision for our household. Xerxes is very knowledgeable on all things related to home heating and cooling systems!”
